Our Mission

We are a non-denominational, bible-based church, led to love one another, teach God’s word, and serve our community.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God (1 Corinthians 2:12-13; Ephesians 3:3-5; Galatians 1:11-12) and is our highest authority (Deuteronomy 4:1a; John 10:32-38; Revelation 1:8).

We believe the Bible is useful for teaching us HOW to follow God and be a disciple of Jesus in every area of our lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe that God created the church so that man may teach and preach God’s Word, have spiritual fellowship, and eat and pray together as a body of believers, in remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross (Acts 2:42, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). This is done to glorify, honor and submit to Jesus since He is head of the Church Ephesians 1:22, 5:23-24; Colossians 1:18).

We believe that God the Father spoke the universe into existence (Genesis 1:1) in cooperation with Jesus, who is the Word (John 1:1-3; John 1:14), and the Holy Spirit Who hovered over the waters (Genesis 1:2).

We believe in the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:6-12).

We believe God perfectly created men and women, man and his wife (Genesis 2:23-25), in His own image (Genesis 1:27); equal in value, but different in roles (Ephesians 5:22-23); (1 Timothy 2:8, 11-14).

We believe when the first man and woman disobeyed GOD [sinned], they lost that close relationship (Genesis 3:8-9) they had with Him in the beginning, causing sin to enter the world (Genesis 3:6-7,16-24).

We believe sin is a transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7; Joshua 1:18). God describes sin as: sexual immorality, impurity, homosexuality, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, greed, lust, theft, coveting, malice, deceit, lying, lewdness, slander, murder, and filthy language (Exodus 20:1-17; Mark 7:21-23); (1 Corinthians 6:9-11); (Galatians 5:19-21; Colossians 3:5-10).

We believe that because of God’s infinite love for humanity He sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth in human form to live a blameless life and to ultimately die for our sins.  We believe in the power of Jesus’ finished work as the ONLY way to be spared from eternal separation from God (John 3:16; John 14:6).

We believe that even after we are saved by God's free gift of salvation, we are not able to be perfect in this lifetime (Romans 3:23); (1 Corinthians 15:50-57).

We believe that Baptism is an outward expression of faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:16; Act 2:38; Galatians 3:26-27).

We believe that Communion is done in remembrance of what Jesus did on the Cross to wash away our sins, and to help us remember that Jesus’ Spirit is living in us and every other believer around us (1 Corinthians 11:17-34; John 14:15-17).

We believe that all mankind sins and as such, no one has the ability to save themselves (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23) by doing good deeds or by being a “good person” (Ephesians 2:8-9); (2 Timothy 1:9). It is only through accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord that we can receive eternal life in Heaven (John 11:25-27). Salvation is available to anyone who acknowledges by faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins, rose bodily from the grave, and asks Him(God) to forgive them of their sins and save their soul (John 3:16-18; John 8:24; Acts 10:43; Acts 13:38-39; Romans 10:9-13; Galatians 3:23).

We believe in giving God the honor and glory, with the help of the Holy Spirit, out of joy and gratitude for saving us (Romans 8:26); (2 Timothy 1:14; Romans 14:17; 15:13; Colossians 3:16). We strive to carry out the Commandments God has given us by loving God and loving other people (Matthew 22:37-39) and therefore fulfilling the Great Commission by preaching the gospel and teaching others how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 10:42).

We believe that Jesus will return (Matthew 16:27 & 24:23-27; Acts 1:9-11), but we don’t know when (Matthew 24:36, 42, 44, 50). Jesus will judge all the living and the dead, so each person will receive what is due to them for what they have done in the body, whether good or evil (Matthew 16:27; Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:22-23; John 5:28-29; Acts 10:42); (2 Corinthians 3:10-15; 5:10); (2 Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 9:27-28).  Whoever professes with their mouths and believes in their hearts that Jesus is the Son of God will be saved (John 1:12; John 5:24; John 11:26; Romans 10:9-10; 1 John 5:1-2). But those who do not believe will be punished for eternity in the lake of fire, and only experience God’s wrath (John 3:36; Rev 20:12-15; Rev 21:8).
